Dear Students,

As the final bell rings on the 2025-2026 academic year, I want to take a moment to tell you how incredibly proud I am of every single one of you.

We have accomplished so much together this year. Whether you were learning to read, conducting science experiments, or pushing yourselves academically or socially, you showed true, dedicated, and wonderful growth. You have shown kindness to your classmates, curiosity in your lessons, and resilience when things were challenging.

Now, it is time for a well-deserved break! I hope your summer is filled with sun, laughter, and fun adventures with your friends and family.

As you enjoy your time off, here are a few ways to make the most of your summer:

Relax and Recharge: Take time to rest, breathe, and play.

Keep Learning: Explore a new hobby, build something amazing, or read a book just for fun.

Stay Safe: Whether you are swimming, biking, or playing outside, always look out for one another and stay safe.

Thank you for making this school year so memorable. I cannot wait to see your smiling faces again in August, ready to start new adventures as a viking.

Have a fantastic, safe, and happy summer vacation!

Warmly,

Katie McNab
Principal, Chalmette Elementary
